Graphic House Design Department
Artwork designed by Graphic House remains the property of Whitsunday Graphic House until paid for. Once paid for the client owns the artwork and on request we can supply a copy of the flattened artwork to the client. Any future orders of the same printing product with the exact same design will incur no artwork fees. If a copy of the flattened artwork is requested after the completion of a design project, the current minimum artwork retrieval and administration fee will be charged.
Graphic House design services can take from 2 to 4 working days, and will vary depending on workload.
Colour Variations
If colour needs to be exact or meet company compliance PMS Spot colours, then spot colour printing is recommended to achieve this result.
CMYK offset printing products may have colour variations from the colours seen on computer screens during the proofing stages and again it could vary a little on each print run. This is the nature of CMYK offset printing and bulk-run printing.
Email Proof
Proofs emailed by Graphic House are an indication of the final printed product only. Variations in colour or trim can be a result of the printing process. Screen colours can be very different to the final print product. No reprints at our cost will be printed.
Accepting Proofs
When accepting artwork proofs from Graphic House, you are held fully responsible for accepting all content. This includes design, spelling, grammar and numbers. It is your responsibility to request another copy if your proof is difficult to read. We will print exactly what is accepted in the final proof. No reprints at our expense will be printed.
DIY Artwork
Customers who upload their own artwork are fully responsible for the end result of printing. Customers are reminded to submit print-ready artwork with the correct specifications as outlined on our artwork specifications pages. We will print whatever you submit, and we are not responsible for artwork mistakes. No reprints at our expense will be printed. We reserve the right to make changes to your artwork without your consent to avoid printing problems that we predict happening. No reprints at our expense will be printed.
Customers are reminded that when we trim the bleed of any printing product, this cut can vary in location up to 3mm in any direction. A 3mm internal margin from the bleed line is recommended.
Copyright
Graphic House takes copyright seriously, both in house and with artwork supplied from its clients. it is your responsibility to ensure that any design that is submitted is not in violation of any copyright laws. We assume that your artwork is legally yours. During the course of a project, Clients are advised accordingly in respect to any copyright issues that may arise. Graphic House will not be held liable for any clients’ violation of copyright laws.
Turnaround
The current median turnaround time for most standard printing products is 10 business days. This is from the time of accepting the proof, to the time when you receive your order. Design time is extra. Graphic House will always endeavor to complete printing within this time, however it will not be held responsible for loss or damages due to printing being delivered after this time.
Delivery
Graphic House will not be held liable for printing products that are lost, damaged or delayed when delivered by post or courier.
Prices
While care has been taken in posting correct prices on the website, Graphic House has the right to remove or change products and prices without notice.
